What can homeopathy treat?

It is important to remember that a homeopath does not diagnose or treat specific diseases. However, homeopathy can help in many ways. Homeopathic remedies strengthen your overall state of health, helping your body heal itself. Scientific studies of homeopathy have shown that it helps a variety of physical conditions such as allergies, arthritis, migraines, asthma, menstrual problems, respiratory and digestive conditions; as well as mental or emotional health concerns such as depression and anxiety.
Is homeopathy safe?
Homeopathic remedies are safe as they are derived from natural substances including plants, minerals and animals, offering healing properties. Treatment is safe as it is non-toxic and is administered in very small quantities. Babies, children, pregnant and breast-feeding women, the elderly and the chronically ill will find benefit from homeopathy. However, as with any other healing system, it is important to go to a competent homeopath who uses these tools effectively.
Are homeopathic remedies just placebo?
Homeopathic remedies can produce consistent, unique, replicable effects on double blind test subjects. This is unlikely to be the effect of suggestion. In addition, homeopathic remedies are highly effective in babies and animals, two groups not generally subject to placebo effects.
The homeopathic remedy is like an energetic hologram of the original substance. It can be likened to a silicon chip containing information rather than being a nutritive extract like an herb. Currently some research is being performed at London's Homeopathic Research Institute (HRI), headed by Dr. Alexander Tournier whose studies include quantum and biophysics, to scientifically prove the validity of homeopathy and the logic behind the power of homeopathic remedies.
If homeopathy is so effective, why isn't it more popular?
Actually, homeopathy is quite popular in many countries around the world. Over 30 million people in Europe use homeopathy as their alternative form of medicine. It is particularly popular in France, England, Germany, India, Greece, Pakistan, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and South Africa. In India alone, there are over 120 four-year homeopathic medical schools.
What is "classical" homeopathy?
Classical homeopathy means following the principles of homeopathy as they were originally intended. That includes the method used by masters in selecting the correct remedy and the concept of only one remedy and one potency at a time, as well as the minimum dose necessary to promote cure. Unfortunately, homeopathy has branched out in many directions since its conception and in the process has lost some of the foundation it was based on. A truly classical homeopath follows the original laws of homeopathy and prescribes on a solid principles.
Will the insurance cover the cost of homeopathic treatment?
It is unlikely that your insurance company would cover the cost of your homeopathic treatment. However, if you have a pre-tax healthcare flexible spending account, you should be able to claim reimbursement.

  1. Classical Homeopathic treatment is dramatically cheap compared to allopathic medicine. Conventional treatments often just mask the symptoms, while homeopathic medicine has the potential for true cure as well as removal of hereditary predispositions. Although often not covered by insurance, the overall cost to benefit ratio of homeopathy far outweighs those of conventional medicine. Classical Homeopaths take the time to find just the right remedy for each individual. For more information: www.freedomhomeopathy.com
